【かもジン：掘り出し物】2011年06月01日発行 8面より転載。 昔なつかし、カッコイイ。ヴィンテージ物の自転車で走りまわる雄姿は貝渚の「山口豆腐店」店主の山口勇さん（70 才）。今では珍しいノザワ製自転車の荷台には、特注の豆腐販売用ケースを乗せ、引出しを開けると豆腐・厚揚げ・油揚げ等々、・・・・・。ハンドルにはラッパがぶら下がり、呼止めると、なんともいえない笑顔。豆腐一筋60 年、川口から東条あたりまで自転車で流しながら優しい味を販売しています。見かけたら声をかけてみてください、きっと忘れていた何かを思い出します。
